American Express (AXP) said Wednesday it partnered with Accor (AC.PA) to allow eligible Canadian cardholders to transfer Membership Rewards points to the ALL Accor loyalty program and receive elite status benefits.

Eligible enrolled cardholders will be able to convert 1,000 Membership Rewards points into 500 ALL Reward points, which can be redeemed for hotel stays, dining and other experiences across more than 45 hotel brands and 110 partners, the company said.

American Express said eligible premium cardholders will also receive ALL Accor elite status later this year, providing benefits including room upgrades, late checkout and bonus reward points.
