Turn Therapeutics Shares Rise on Expanded Phase 2 Study for Eczema Treatment

Turn Therapeutics shares rose after the company said it will add more patients to its Phase 2 study of GX-03, its treatment for atopic dermatitis.

Shares were recently up 9.7% at $10.01 in late Monday morning trading after the company said it would expand the study in its second phase. The stock is up about 194% over the past three months.

"The purpose of a staged, adaptive clinical trial is to learn from the first stage to strengthen the second," Chief Executive Bradley Burnam said. "GX-03 demonstrated meaningful activity across a wider spectrum of atopic dermatitis severity than we originally anticipated."

The company said its expanded study will generate data that could support broader development and future labeling opportunities for GX-03.

The program will expand to up to 135 patients from 50 and evaluate patients across the full range of disease severity, as measured by the Eczema Area and Severity Index.

The company said enrollment continued during the review, no treatment related serious adverse events have been observed, and it expects to complete enrollment in the fourth quarter of 2026.
