These Analysts Raise Their Forecasts On Wabtec After Upbeat Q2 Results

Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corp (NYSE:WAB) on Wednesday reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance.

Westinghouse Air Brake posted adjusted EPS of $2.76, beating market estimates of $2.60. The company’s sales came in at $3.179 billion versus estimates of $3.075 billion.

The company raised its FY2026 adjusted EPS guidance from $10.25-$10.65 to $10.60-$10.90 and also raised its FY2026 sales guidance from $12.190 billion-$12.490 billion to $12.300 billion-$12.600 billion.

“Wabtec delivered a strong first half, with solid second quarter execution across our businesses driving robust sales growth, margin expansion and a 22% increase in adjusted EPS growth,” said Rafael Santana, Wabtec’s Chairman and CEO.

Westinghouse Air Brake shares gained 0.7% to trade at $292.13 on Thursday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Westinghouse Air Brake following earnings announcement.

  • Keybanc analyst Steve Barger maintained the stock with an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $308 to $340.
  • Susquehanna analyst Bascome Majors maintained the stock with a Positive and raised the price target from $305 to $340.
  • Wells Fargo analyst Jerry Revich maintained the stock with an Equal-Weight rating and boosted the price target from $284 to $315.
