RTX (RTX) unit Collins Aerospace has completed integrated laboratory testing for the European Union's Clean Aviation SWITCH hybrid-electric aviation project, the company said Wednesday.

The tested hybrid-electric powertrain subsystems will undergo aircraft-level integration testing at Airbus laboratories, including aircraft design, battery interfacing and energy management systems, Collins Aerospace said.
