Waste Connections (WCN) reported Q2 adjusted net income late Wednesday of $1.50 per diluted share, up from $1.29 a year ago.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.36.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.56 billion, up from $2.41 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $2.53 billion.
For 2026, the company said it now expects revenue of $10.02 billion to $10.05 billion. Analysts expected $9.93 billion.
