Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and other income, rose to $178.4 million from $141.2 million a year earlier.
Three analysts expected $168.3 million.
The company kept its quarterly dividend at $1.10 per share, payable Sept. 10 to stockholders of record Aug. 21.
