Scribe Therapeutics (SCTX) shares were up sharply in their Friday debut on Nasdaq after the company priced its initial public offering of 8.58 million shares at $15.00 per share.
The stock opened at $25 and was up over 50% at around $22.61 after midday.
The clinical-stage biotechnology company has upsized its IPO after pricing the shares at the high end of its indicative range.
It has granted its underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to almost 1.3 million additional shares. Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim Securities and Wells Fargo Securities are joint book-running managers for the offering.
