Blackstone (BX) is moving closer to sell payments service provider SP.LINK, with SoftBank emerging as the preferred bidder, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The private-equity firm is divesting its 80% stake, while another owner plans to sell the remaining 20%, sources told Bloomberg.
Blackstone and SoftBank did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
