TransUnion Shares Rise After Boosting FY26 Outlook

Shares of TransUnion rose after the consumer credit reporting agency raised its fiscal 2026 outlook, as second-quarter sales and profit climbed.

The stock was up over 10% to $85.35 in recent trading, but fell 0.5% since the start of the year.

TransUnion posted second-quarter net income of $143.4 million, or 74 cents a share, compared with $109.6 million, or 56 cents a share, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings per share were $1.23. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.16.

Revenue rose 15% to $1.31 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.28 billion.

Chief Executive Chris Cartwright said U.S. market revenue was led by U.S. financial services and emerging verticals. He added that he expects to deliver a third consecutive year of at least high-single digit organic constant currency revenue growth and double-digit adjusted earnings per share growth.

TransUnion raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to between $5.13 billion and $5.16 billion from a previous view for $5.1 billion to $5.14 billion. The company also projected earnings per share between $4.15 and $4.22, up from between $4.04 and $4.11.

Analysts polled by FactSet are expecting fiscal 2026 revenue of $5.14 billion and earnings per share of $4.21.

The company forecast third-quarter revenue of $1.29 billion to $1.31 billion and earnings per share between 68 cents and 71 cents.
