Hilton Grand Vacations Shares Fall After 2Q Results Miss Estimates

Shares of Hilton Grand Vacations fell after the vacation ownership company's second-quarter results missed estimates and membership count and contract sales fell.

The stock was down 11% to $45.79 in recent trading, and rose 2.1% since the start of the year.

Hilton Grand's second-quarter net income fell to $12 million, or 15 cents a share, from $25 million, or 25 cents a share, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings per share were 89 cents. Analysts polled by FactSet expected 97 cents.

Revenue rose to $1.36 billion from $1.27 billion. The company said its top line was affected by a net construction deferral of $54 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected revenue of $1.38 billion.

Contract sales fell $24 million to $810 million compared with a year earlier.

Membership count also decreased to 721,896 from 724,306.

Chief Executive Mark Wang said during the quarter, the company made progress on strategic priorities by completing its disposition transaction and expanding its HGV Max membership.

The company forecast fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization between $1.23 billion and $1.27 billion.
