The company posted quarterly adjusted earnings of $2.34 per share, up from $1.89 a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.02.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 28 was $750.2 million, up from $672 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $746.8 million.
The company expects fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings to be between $2.15 and $2.30 per share. Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.24.
Belden expects fiscal Q3 revenue to be between $950 million and $970 million. Three analysts expect $943.5 million.
