Corcept Therapeutics's shares hit a 52-week high Thursday after the commercial-stage medications developer lifted its full-year revenue guidance following a strong quarter for its oncology and Cushing's syndrome businesses.

In early trading, the shares were 26% higher at $116.8, widening the advance over the last 12 months to 67%.

Corcept logged second-quarter net income of $43 million, or 36 cents a share, a rise from $35.1 million, or 29 cents, a year earlier.

Revenue for the three months increased to $256.1 million from $194.4 million in the second quarter of 2025. Analysts polled by FactSet were anticipating sales of $221.1 million.

In its oncology business, Corcept said more than 1,300 patients have now started treatment with Lifyorli for adults with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer following Food and Drug Administration approval in March. Demand for Lifyorli has accelerated each month with physicians responding favorably to Lifyorli's efficacy and safety profile, oral administration and lack of biomarker requirement, Corcept said.

The company said its Cushing's syndrome business had a record number of new prescriptions written for our medications as physicians increasingly recognize hypercortisolism's prevalence, and it expects this trend to continue as the findings from two studies are fully incorporated into clinical practice.

The company said it now expects 2026 revenue of between $1.1 billion and $1.2 billion, compared with a May forecast for $950 million to $1.05 billion. Analysts have penciled in revenue of about $1.08 billion for the year.
