0847 GMT - Airbus can deliver a solid year of results if the momentum it has witnessed in the second quarter continues, Vertical Research Partners' Robert Stallard and Karl Oehlschlaeger write in a note. The European plane maker reported revenue and adjusted earnings above company consensus and management remarked on improvements in aircraft deliveries in the quarter. "With 2Q having comfortably beaten expectations, Airbus looks well placed to exceed its 2026 targets given the usual seasonality across its businesses," they say. However, Stallard and Oehlschlaeger note that management shouldn't be complacent as there is still a lot to do in the second half. Airbus shares trade 2.5% lower at 204.70 euros.
