Henry Schein is slimming its management ranks as part of efforts to simplify the healthcare products and services company's organization, with three executives shifting into senior advisory roles.
Henry Schein on Thursday said Michael Ettinger, executive vice president and chief operating officer; Mark Mlotek, executive vice president and chief strategy officer; and James Mullins, senior vice president of global supply chain, will leave their posts on Oct. 30.
The Melville, N.Y., company said it will also integrate its global supply-chain organization with its global distribution group, adding that it expects the changes will further expedite prioritization, accelerate decision-making and advance efforts to simplify its operating model.
Henry Schein said Ettinger and Mlotek, who have each been with the company since 1994, will be entitled to payments and benefits under its executive severance plan.
