These Analysts Revise Their Forecasts On TFI International Following Q2 Earnings

TFI International (NYSE:TFII) reported downbeat earnings for the second quarter on Monday.

The company posted quarterly earnings of $1.34 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.60 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.654 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.216 billion.

TFI International said it sees third-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.70-$1.80.

“All three of our business segments generated stronger revenue and higher operating income during the second quarter allowing us to beat our earnings outlook, thanks to the impressive efforts of our team and our strategic investments in recent years that are beginning to drive results,” said Alain Bédard, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

TFI International shares rose 4.4% to trade at $152.29 on Tuesday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on TFI International following earnings announcement.

  • JP Morgan analyst Brian Ossenbeck maintained TFI International with an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $164 to $175.
  • RBC Capital analyst Walter Spracklin maintained the stock with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $158 to $171.
  • Stifel analyst J. Bruce Chan maintained the stock with a Hold and boosted the price target from $150 to $160.
  • Citigroup analyst Ariel Rosa maintained the stock with a Buy and lowered the price target from $182 to $180.
  • TD Cowen analyst Jason Seidl maintained the stock with a Buy and raised the price target from $154 to $158.
