Maruti Suzuki India is scheduled to report first-quarter results on Friday. Here is what you need to know:

NET PROFIT: Maruti Suzuki's net profit is expected to have declined 13% to 32.22 billion rupees, equivalent to $336.6 million, for the three months ended June on an unconsolidated basis, according to a poll of analysts by LSEG. Net profit was 37.12 billion rupees a year earlier.

REVENUE: Revenue is estimated to have increased 34% to 515.66 billion rupees on an unconsolidated basis, according to LSEG.

The carmaker's stock has fallen about 15% year to date, following a 54% rise in 2025.

WHAT TO WATCH:

--Fourth-quarter exports surged 61% from a year earlier to 137,215 units. Investors will be focusing on the pace of export growth and any updates on the automaker's overseas expansion strategy.

--The company's net profit margin deteriorated to 7.2% in its fourth quarter from 9.9% a year earlier, partly due to higher commodity prices. Investors will be closely watching margin trends, as automakers globally are dealing with relatively high inflation.

--Investors will be also paying attention to any impact on its operations from the Iran war and higher crude-oil prices.
