Grab Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:GRAB) shares are trending overnight after gaining 4.14% to $3.82 in Monday’s after-hours session following the company’s second-quarter earnings report.

The after-hours gain followed a 4.86% rise during Monday’s regular session, with the stock closing at $3.67.

Grab is a Southeast Asian superapp offering ride-hailing, food and grocery delivery, digital payments and financial services across eight countries.

Q2 Results

Grab reported second-quarter revenue of $997 million, up 22% year over year, while on-demand gross merchandise value (GMV) increased 21% to $6.5 billion. Monthly transacting users reached a record 54 million, and adjusted EBITDA climbed 54% to $168 million.

The company posted profit of $235 million, compared with $20 million a year earlier. Grab said the increase was partly driven by a one-time gain related to the consolidation of Superbank, while adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 16.9% from 13.3% a year ago.

CEO Anthony Tan said the company’s AI strategy continued to support growth.

“We delivered another strong quarter. We executed against our product and AI-led strategy… and we reached a record 54 million Monthly Transacting Users,” Tan said.

Grab also raised its full-year 2026 outlook, forecasting revenue of $4.10 billion to $4.15 billion, up from its prior guidance of $4.04 billion to $4.10 billion. The company increased its adjusted EBITDA guidance to $720 million to $740 million, compared with the previous range of $700 million to $720 million.

Separately, Grab’s board approved a new $750 million share repurchase program, bringing its total authorized buybacks since 2024 to $1.75 billion.
