Shares of Huntsman fell after the company reported a net loss for the second quarter.
Shares were recently down about 19% at $9.76 on Friday. The stock is down about 15% over the past six months.
The global manufacturer of chemical products reported a net loss of $6 million, or 3 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $158 million, or 92 cents a share, a year earlier.
Revenue was $1.66 billion, up from $1.46 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected about $1.60 billion.
Management said higher raw material and energy costs, particularly in Europe, and continued softness in construction end markets weighed on results.
