Eaton Analysts Boost Their Forecasts After Strong Q2 Earnings

Eaton Corporation PLC (NYSE:ETN) on Friday reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance above estimates.

Eaton reported quarterly earnings of $3.15 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.07 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $8.531 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $8.133 billion.

Eaton raised its FY2026 adjusted EPS guidance from $13.05-$13.50 to $13.40-$13.60.

Paulo Ruiz, Eaton chief executive officer, said, “Eaton accelerated its momentum in the second quarter and delivered record sales and solid earnings from strong organic growth. Our focus on disciplined execution led to sequential margin expansion, especially in Electrical Americas. While data centers remain a key growth driver, we are benefiting from robust demand across our end markets. Reflecting this strong performance and sustained demand, we are raising our full-year organic growth guidance and remain well-positioned to deliver on our commitments.”

Eaton shares gained 3.6% to trade at $430.04 on Monday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Eaton following earnings announcement.

  • Evercore ISI Group analyst David Raso upgraded Eaton from In-Line to Outperform and raised the price target from $453 to $502.
  • BMO Capital analyst Daniel DiCicco maintained the stock with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $477 to $487.
