Carlyle (CG) has received approval from the European Commission for its sale of Flender to Triton Partners, the regulator said Tuesday.

The Commission said it has cleared the transaction under the EU Merger Regulation following a simplified merger review procedure.

The transaction would not raise competition concerns because the companies do not operate in the same or vertically related markets, the regulator said.
