Albany International Shares Fall After Q2 Revenue Misses Estimates

Albany International (AIN) shares fell more than 11% after the opening bell after the company posted Q2 revenue that fell short of analysts' consensus.

The company reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.82 per diluted share, up from $0.57 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.74.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $329.5 million, up from $311.4 million a year earlier.

Three analysts expected revenue of $340.1 million.

The company said it expects Q3 adjusted EPS of between $0.60 and $0.70. Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.69. Albany expects consolidated net revenue between $320 million and $330 million for the quarter.

Three analysts expect revenue of $314.6 million.
