Certara Shares Fall After Q2 Miss, Lower 2026 Guidance

Certara (CERT) shares were down more than 13% in early Tuesday trading after the company posted Q2 results that fell short of expectations and lowered its 2026 guidance.

The company reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.08 per diluted share, unchanged from a year ago.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.09.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $93.3 million, up from $92.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $98.1 million.

For full-year 2026, the company said it now expects adjusted diluted EPS in the range of $0.31 to $0.36, compared with $0.35 to $0.41 previously. Analysts expect $0.38. Full-year revenue is expected to be between $367 million and $382 million, compared with prior outlook of $395 million to $405 million. Analysts expect $398.6 million.
