Adient (ADNT) shares were down over 1% in morning trading on Wednesday after the company posted lower-than-expected fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings.

The company reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.48 per diluted share, up from $0.45 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.58.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $3.93 billion, up from $3.74 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected revenue of $3.71 billion.

For fiscal 2026, the company increased its consolidated sales guidance to $15 billion from $14.8 billion. Analysts expect revenue of $14.83 billion.
