Costco Wholesale (COST) said late Wednesday its July net sales for the four weeks ended Aug. 2 rose 10.7% to $23.12 billion from $20.89 billion a year earlier.

For the first 48 weeks of the fiscal year, net sales increased 10.1% to $273.55 billion from $248.35 billion a year earlier.
