James Hardie Industries (JHX) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.36 per diluted share, up from $0.32 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.33.
Net Sales for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $1.47 billion from $899.9 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $1.43 billion.
For fiscal Q2, the company expects net sales of $1.49 billion to $1.58 billion. Analysts expect $1.33 billion.
For the fiscal year 2027, the company expects net sales of $5.56 billion to $5.72 billion, compared with the previous guidance of $5.25 billion to $5.41 billion. Analysts expect $5.54 billion.
Shares of James Hardie Industries were up more than 6% in after-hours activity.
