Ascendis Pharma (ASND) is seeing "good progress" in its Achondroplasia or ACH programs, with positive data on product candidates and accelerating uptake of its newly launched Yuviwel therapy, Wedbush Securities said in a Thursday note.
The company issued an update on its ACH programs the same day, reporting 78-week data from a phase 2 study of the combination of TransCon CNP and TransCon hGH in patients with ACH. The results indicate the combination therapy's potential to yield a strong long-term clinical benefit, Wedbush said.
Ascendis Pharma is planning a phase 3 trial to compare the combination therapy with TransCon CNP alone, the brokerage added.
Meanwhile, Yuviwel patient enrollments rose nearly 200% in two months, potentially generating Q2 net revenue that would top the consensus forecast of 4.4 million euros ($5.1 million), Wedbush added.
Wedbush has an outperform rating and $327 price target on Ascendis Pharma.
