Acer (TPE:2353) resigned from its positions as chairman and corporate director of its unit Chao Chi Property Management Consulting, after becoming aware of issues related to the subsidiary's internal management, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.

Shares gained over 1% in Monday's afternoon trade.

The move followed an Aug. 5 board meeting at Chao Chi Property Management Consulting, where Acer representative director Vincent Lee was elected chairman.

Acer's appointed representative director also resigned, while Lee stepped down as Chao Chi's president, the filing said.
