Novo Nordisk (NVO) said Monday it has signed a partnership with Amazon.com's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services to advance drug discovery for serious chronic conditions and upgrade its operations through agentic artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the partnership, Novo Nordisk will use Amazon Bio Discovery and Amazon Bedrock to identify drug targets, accelerate the design of new therapies, and connect genomic, imaging, and clinical data, it said.
