Ingenic Semiconductor (SHE:300223) proposed to repurchase shares worth between 100 million yuan and 200 million yuan, according to a Monday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.
The Chinese semiconductor company's shares rose 1% during Tuesday's midday trade.
The company plans to buy back between 454,546 and 909,090 shares, which represent less than 0.20% of the company's total shares, at up to 220 yuan per share.
The share buyback will be completed within three months starting from the 30th day after the closing date of the company's Hong Kong initial public offering.
