1506 ET [Dow Jones]--Electric-vehicle prices have risen for two straight months, with the average price paid for a new EV hitting $56,126 in July, Kelley Blue Book said. That figure was up 1.6% from July 2025, the Cox Automotive brand added. July marked the first positive year-over-year reading for EV prices since December of last year, Kelley Blue Book added. At the same time, incentives for EVs dropped to $6,626 in July, down 9.1% from the prior month and 24.3% from July 2025, Kelley Blue Book said. Incentives were 11.8% of the average transaction price, down 15.8% from last year, but above the industry average of 6.4%, according to Kelley Blue Book.
