Alcon (ALC) reported Q2 core earnings late Monday of $0.84 per diluted share, up from $0.76 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.75.
Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $2.78 billion, up from $2.58 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $2.72 billion.
For full-year 2026, the company now expects core EPS growth of 12% to 15%, versus 10% to 13% previously, and still projects revenue growth of 5% to 7%.
