Innate Pharma (IPHA) has partnered with Swedish Orphan Biovitrum, or Sobi, to launch a confirmatory phase 3 study in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, the companies said Monday.

Under the deal, Innate will run the trial, while Sobi will gain exclusive global commercialization rights for lacutamab upon potential accelerated approval in Sezary syndrome, a subtype of cutaneous T cell lymphoma, they said.

Innate will receive $75 million at closing, up to $40 million in potential near-term milestones, and up to $465 million in additional regulatory, commercial and development milestones, plus sales royalties.

Closing is subject to antitrust clearance and other conditions.
