0837 GMT - China's consumer price index may face some pressure as commodity tailwinds fade, according to Barclays in a research note. The July price data broadly eased, which reflects "support from earlier upstream and commodity-related price increases is beginning to fade," the bank says. Oil prices have fallen from peak levels in April while U.S. and Iran conflicts regarding the reopening of Strait of Hormuz continues. Weakness in domestic demand, and softer tourism-related spending, also adds pressure to CPI, it says.
