Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais (CIG) reported Q2 adjusted net income Thursday of 1.12 billion Brazilian reais ($215.5 million), down from 1.32 billion reais a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 11.15 billion reais, up from 10.79 billion reais a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by FactSet expected 9.41 billion reais.
Shares of the company were up 2.6% in Friday's premarket activity.
