Profound Medical (PROF) said Friday it named Matthew Sobczyk interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, succeeding Rashed Dewan.

Sobczyk, who joined the company in 2020, was promoted from corporate controller, the company said, adding that Dewan will remain on a short-term consulting contract to support the transition.
