YXT.com Group (YXT) said Friday it has entered into agreements to sell 500,000 American depositary shares at $3.0 per ADS to some institutional investors. The stock closed at $5.65 Thursday.

Shares sank 36%, with intraday trading volume of over 379,000, versus a daily average of roughly 1.2 million.

KinderCare Learning Companies (KLC) reported late Thursday a decline in Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue, while its guidance for full-year 2026 sales missed market expectations.

Shares plunged 45% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 4.7 million from a daily average of about 717,000.

Applied Materials (AMAT) shares dropped over 5% after the semiconductor equipment manufacturer reported lower free cash flow for the first nine months of the fiscal year amid an increase in capital expenditures.

More than 8.7 million shares traded intraday, compared with a daily average of about 9.58 million.
