Ascendis Pharma (ASND) reported Q2 non-IFRS earnings Thursday of 0.90 euros ($1.04) per diluted share, up from 0.07 euros a year earlier.

A comparable analyst estimate was not readily available.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 339.3 million euros, up from 158 million euros a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 329.9 million euros.

As of June 30, the company had cash and cash equivalents of 812.3 million euros, compared with 616 million euros as of the end of last year.

Shares of Ascendis were up 2% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
