Sun Communities (SUI) will replace Webster Financial (WBS) in the S&P MidCap 400 prior to the opening of trading on Aug. 20, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Thursday.

Banco Santander (SAN) is acquiring Webster in a deal expected to be completed soon, it said.
