Ferrovial (FER) said Wednesday it was chosen to deliver the Interstate 24 Southeast Choice Lanes project in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ferrovial-led consortium DriveTN, including Transurban and Tikehau Star Infra, will design, finance, construct, and manage the $9.2 billion, 26-mile highway expansion, which will also introduce optional travel lanes in both directions between Nashville and Murfreesboro, the company said.
The agreement is expected to provide $24.8 billion in concession value to the state, Ferrovial said.
Shares of the company were up 3.2% in Thursday premarket activity.
