Cochlear Fiscal 2026 Underlying Earnings Down, Revenue Up

Cochlear (ASX:COH) logged AU$4.929 in underlying basic earnings per share for the fiscal 2026, compared with AU$6.334 a year ago, a Tuesday filing showed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$4.72

For the 12 months ended June 30, revenue was AU$2.35 billion versus AU$2.34 billion previously, the Australia-listed medical device company added.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$2.33 billion.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$1.30 per share, down from AU$2.15 a year earlier, payable Oct. 14 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 22.

The company expects fiscal 2027 low single-digit constant-currency sales revenue growth and underlying net profit of AU$330 million to AU$350 million. Gross margin is expected at 70% to 71%, while net profit margin is expected to return to 18% over the medium term.
