Entropy Neurodynamics (ASX:ENP) executed a development and manufacturing services agreement with BioCina to manufacture its proprietary therapy candidate, TRP-8803, or IV-infused psilocin, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

BioCina will conduct a program including analytical verification, engineering batch manufacture, followed by GMP placebo and active drug product batches, per the filing. The manufacturing program is expected to take 24 weeks, with real-time stability studies continuing for 24 months.

Entropy is advancing TRP-8803 through a clinical program, including a 72-patient study across eight neuropsychiatric indications of high-unmet clinical need, the filing said. The agreement provides the manufacturing capability to support clinical trials and future regulatory requirements.

The company's shares climbed nearly 3% in recent trading on Wednesday.
