Coty (COTY) reported a fiscal Q4 adjusted loss late Wednesday of $0.02 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $0.05 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.01.
Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $1.27 billion, up from $1.25 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $1.19 billion.
Separately, the company said it named Soraya Benchikh as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 1. Benchikh succeeds Laurent Mercier and was most recently the CFO of British American Tobacco.
