Abbott Laboratories (ABT) signed a multi-year collaboration deal with Avricore Health's HealthTab unit for the supply and distribution of Abbott's point-of-care testing products via the HealthTab platform in the UK, according to a Thursday statement.

No financial details were disclosed. The deal allows HealthTab to distribute Abbott's Afinion 2 Analyzer in pharmacies linked with the UK's National Health Service and sets a framework to expand point-of-care testing through community pharmacies, Avricore said.
