Bank of Nanjing's (SHA:601009) attributable profit rose 8.2% to 13.7 billion yuan in the first half from 12.6 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the bank increased to 1.10 yuan from 1.03 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue grew 11% to 31.6 billion yuan from 28.5 billion yuan a year earlier.

Net interest income increased 40% year over year to 21.9 billion yuan.

The non-performing loan ratio fell to 0.82% from 0.83%.
