Aduro Clean Technologies (ADUR) said Wednesday it has selected Saipem for early engineering and project services supporting its planned first-of-a-kind, or FOAK, hydrochemolytic technology facility at Chemelot in the Netherlands.
The company said the initial work will cover engineering and procurement activities, including equipment optimization, utility integration and capital cost estimates.
Aduro said the work will be funded from existing cash and is not expected to require additional financing.
The project is expected to advance to front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, subject to successful completion of the development stages and definitive agreements, the company added.
