06:52 ET - Target says it cut prices on more than 10,000 frequently purchased items over the last year as it focuses on offering everyday value. The retailer says 95% of its school supplies assortment is priced at or below last year's retail prices. In the meantime, overall guest satisfaction scores continued to improve in the second quarter, building on momentum from the first quarter, the company says. Target says it will continue to focus on offering value through the remainder of the back-to-school and back-to-college season.
