National Stock Exchange of India is seeking a valuation of up to 5.26 trillion Indian rupees for its planned initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The exchange has indicated a potential IPO price of 2,000 rupees to 2,100 rupees per share in meetings with investors, with its global roadshow largely completed, according to the report.

The IPO is now expected to launch in the second half of September, about three weeks later than previously expected, Bloomberg noted.

The offering is planned as an entirely secondary share sale, with existing shareholders proposing to sell up to 148.9 million shares, or about 6% of NSE, according to its draft prospectus.

NSE did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
