Home Depot (HD) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $4.92 per diluted share, up from $4.68 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $4.73.
Net sales for the quarter ended Aug. 2 were $47.86 billion, up from $45.28 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $47.24 billion.
For fiscal 2026, the company continues to expect adjusted EPS to grow approximately flat to 4% from a year earlier on sales growth of about 2.5% to 4.5%.
