DataVita secured 300 million Pounds ($407 million) of financing from ING, ABN AMRO, and other European banks to expand an existing data center in Scotland and build another, the UK Business Department said late Monday.
The British government guaranteed 80% of the 252 million Pounds tranche provided by the two Dutch banks and Spain's Santander, the statement said.
The remainder is being provided by the Scottish National Investment Bank and Siemens Financial Services, according to the statement.
