Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic is projecting revenue of about $190 billion to $200 billion in 2028 as bankers and investors assess a potential IPO valuation for the fast-growing artificial intelligence company, Reuters reported Saturday, citing two people familiar with the company's financials.

The forecast would represent a sharp increase from the roughly $47 billion annual revenue run rate Anthropic disclosed in May, the report said.

Investors are using enterprise-value-to-revenue multiples to gauge the company's worth, according to the report.

Anthropic did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
